What makes an Avocado mattress 'green'?
Our mattresses are handcrafted in California using GOTS certified organic cotton, GOTS certified organic wool, and GOLS certified organic latex. We never use polyurethane foams, chemical flame retardants, or toxic pesticides.
How long is the sleep trial period?
We offer a 365-night sleep trial for our mattresses. We encourage you to sleep on your new mattress for at least 30 days to allow your body to adjust before deciding if it is the right fit for you.
Do you offer free shipping and returns?
Yes, we provide free carbon-neutral shipping on all orders within the contiguous United States. If you are not satisfied during your trial period, we offer free returns and full refunds.
What kind of warranty comes with the mattress?
All Avocado Green Mattresses are backed by a 25-year limited warranty that covers manufacturing defects and structural issues, ensuring your investment is protected for decades.
Do I need a special foundation for my Avocado mattress?
Our mattresses work best on a firm, flat surface. This can be a slatted bed frame (with slats no more than 5 inches apart), a traditional foundation, or even an adjustable base.
Are your products certified for safety and health?
Yes, our products are GREENGUARD Gold certified for low emissions and Formaldehyde Free certified by UL Environment. We are also a certified B Corp, meeting the highest standards of social and environmental impact.
